ORRIN DESIRE PROSSER JR.

Orrin Desire Prosser Jr., 76, of Hillman, passed away Dec. 4, 2023, at Medilodge of Hillman.

Orrin was born in Detroit on April 29, 1947, to the late Orrin and Elsie (Wisniewski) Prosser. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On June 10, 1995, he married Linda Gerisch. Orrin retired from Ford in 2001. He was a life member of VFW, past Commander of five years for Romulus VFW Post 9568, member of Montmorency VFW Post 2356, and American Legion. Orrin enjoyed playing pool, bowling, fishing, and playing Euchre.

Surviving are his wife, Linda; daughter, Marlena (Geno) Jones; grandson, Devyn Jones; two stepsons, Fred Hockett and Steve (Dawn) Hockett.

Visitation will take place Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, at Bannan Funeral Home – Hillman from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Gerisch officiating. Military honors to follow by Montmorency VFW Post 2356.

Inurnment: Great Lakes National Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel of Towers Foundation or Hospice of Michigan.
