H. Louise Buvia, 98, of Alpena, passed away Dec. 10, 2023, surrounded by all her loving children.
H. Louise Coomer was born July 27, 1925, in Paducah, Kentucky, to the late Wiley and Ora (Collins) Coomer. She married Francis Buvia, who preceded her in death, on Dec. 5, 1978. Louise enjoyed flowers, bird watching, and most importantly her loving family.
Surviving are her five children, Phillip (Peggy) Buvia, Michael (Tammy) Buvia, Gail (Gary) Pretzer, Michelle (Pat) Buvia, Harriet (Loren) Pinger; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Bettie Joe.
Louise was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebbecca Gould; four siblings, Berry "BT" Coomer, Harlie Coomer, Irene Cerveny, Eddie Franklin Coomer; and cousin, Martha "Skippy" Adkins.
Visitation will take place Wednesday at Bannan Funeral Home from noon until the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Timothy Decker officiating.
Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
