KENNETH DUANE BARRIE

Kenneth Duane Barrie, 79, of Hillman, passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023, at his home.

Kenneth was born in Pontiac on Jan. 27, 1944, to the late William and Frances (Kopperwas) Barrie. On Aug. 24, 1963, he married Mary Lou Hubbard. She preceded him in death on May 20, 2021. He was a truck driver his whole life, the last 25 years for Huron Distributors retiring in 2005. Kenneth enjoyed farming, selling real estate, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his three children; Scott Barrie, Shawn (Lisa) Barrie, Lisa (Bill) Dove; six grandchildren, Tyler Barrie, Kyle (Brandi) Barrie, Arielle (Eric) Crawford, Wyatt Barrie, Morgan (Noah) Allen, Jaden Dove; five great-grandchildren, Creed Barrie, Aubrey Crawford, Cash Crawford, Luke Allen, Alex Allen; one brother, Thomas (Pam) Barrie; several nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kelsi Barrie, and a brother William Barrie.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place in the spring at Hillman Rust Twps. Cemetery.
