DANIEL SCOTT FAIRCHILD

Daniel Scott Fairchild, age 54 from Lachine originally of Bear Lake, Michigan, passed away on Nov. 15, 2023, after a long battle.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Daniel had a great love of fishing, motocross, RC racing, jet skiing and his shop, Full Bore.

He is survived by his four children, Ricky Fairchild of Thompsonville, Anna Fairchild of Battle Creek, Robert Fairchild of Alpena and Alex Fairchild of Branson, Missouri; his sister Diana Fairchild of Bear Lake; his mother Peggy VanAelst of Bear Lake; stepbrothers Scott (Sam) VanAelst and Paul (Lori) VanAelst; stepsisters Amy (Ken) Rowland and Kim (Ryan) Terpstra; plus, numerous nieces, nephews and two granddaughters.

Preceded in death by his father Milton Fairchild, and stepfather Dan VanAelst.

A Celebration of Life for Daniel will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
