STEVE MARTIN LISKE

Steve Martin Liske, 67, of Alpena passed away Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, at his home.

Steve was born in Alpena on April 17, 1956, to the late Elvin and Ruth (Herrmann) Liske. On June 10, 2000, he married Jacqueline McSorley. She preceded him in death on Sept. 20, 2014. Steve worked at Walmart for 22 years, retiring in 2022. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, enjoyed fishing and was a “foodie” at heart.

He is survived by his two children, Martin (Wendy Brun) Liske, Alicia (Josh) Lockerby; six grandchildren, Trevor Collins, Tyler Liske, Michel Hynek, Kayleigh Liske, Rylan Lockerby, Vance Lockerby; sister, Barbara (Fabian) Kwiatkowski; nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at noon with the Rev. James Erickson officiating. Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
