LINDA ANN KLEI

Linda Ann Klei, age 83, of Mikado, Michigan, formerly of Detroit, Michigan passed away on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alpena, Michigan.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan on Jan. 27, 1940 to the late Cyril and Marian (Mills) Werstine. Linda graduated from Redford High School. She married the love of her life, Ronald E. Klei on Oct. 27, 1962 and together, they cherished nearly 61 years of marriage. Linda devoted her life to raising and caring for her family. Over the years, she enjoyed gardening, sewing and tending to her hummingbirds. Linda was also the deputy clerk for the Greenbush Chamber of Commerce for many years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald; children, Eric (Karyl) Klei of Redford Twp, Michigan and Jill (Jon Erdman) Merritt of Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, Kelsey (Charlie) Randall of Redford Twp, Michigan and Kendall and Jared Merritt of Saginaw, Michigan and great-grandson, Teddy Randall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Werstine.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Glen Eden Cemetery Chapel in Livonia, Michigan with interment to follow. You may offer your condolences online to the family at bureshfuneralhomes.com.
