DANIEL MARK DERRY

Daniel Mark Derry, 67, of Alpena, passed away on Monday, Oct. 16, 2023 at Besser Senior Living Community. Daniel was born on Aug. 28, 1956 to the late Wayne and Virginia (Kasubowski) Derry. Daniel worked in the shop at Panel Processing for 38 years until his retirement. There were many things that he enjoyed such as working on chainsaws, cutting wood, building deer blinds and just being outdoors. He was an avid hunter and was a member of the Leroy Hunting Club. He was a very hard worker and dedicated a lot of his time to working and was known to be very handy.

Daniel is survived by his children, Laura Derry, Amanda Derry, Ethan Derry, his siblings, Steven, Mark, Wayne Jr., Andy, and Greg Derry, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Jane Derry.

Daniel has been taken for cremation from Karpus Hunter and Ross Funeral Home. A gathering will be held at Daniels residence on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023 at 2 p.m. Online condolences may be registered at www.karpushuntercares.com.
