Timothy Paul Barrow, 53, of Alpena passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2023, at home.

Timothy was born Oct. 1, 1969, in Alpena to Paul and Jean (Lawrence) Barrow Jr. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Tim participated in the Special Olympics track and field and basketball. He graduated from Pied Piper in 1995 and loved basketball. Tim was a friend to everyone, kindhearted, and loved his entire family. He did the polar plunge for nine years and was top fundraiser for a number of years. Tim was a wrestling fan and enjoyed drawing and coloring.

Surviving are his mother, Jean Barrow; father, Paul Barrow Jr.; two brothers, Brent (Jennifer) Barrow, Whitney (Pamela) Barrow; two half-sisters, Casey (Mark) Hodous, Emily (Jim) Mertz; stepbrother, Cody Wirgau; nieces and nephews, Parker, Logan, Chace, Owen, Riley, Lincoln; grandmother, Patricia Barrow; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tim was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Barrow; maternal grandparents, Rodney and Jane Lawrence.

Memorial visitation will take place Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, at Grace Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at noon with the Rev. Thomas Orth officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
