SUZETTE ANN GORDON

April 3, 1947 – Sept. 24, 2023

Suzette Ann Gordon, affectionately known as Sue, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 24, 2023, at the age of 76.

Born in Rogers City on April 3, 1947 to the late Harry and Henrietta (Langlois) Kierzek, Sue lived a life full of love, generosity, and thoughtfulness, always putting others before herself.

Sue is survived by her beloved husband, Tim, whom she married on Aug. 10, 1968, and their loving daughter, Yvette Gordon (Amy Quinn). Her life was also enriched by her siblings Louella “Punk” Kierzek, Jerome “Butch” Kierzek, Kenneth Kierzek, and Donna (Paul) Modrzynski. Amongst her many nieces and nephews, she held a special bond with her niece Tabetha and great-niece, Breanna. Sue also leaves behind a legacy of cherished friendships, specifically with Tricia Andrews and Grace Hoeft, who were like family to her.

Sue was dedicated to her work at Alpena General Hospital, where she served for 18 years before retiring. She was a woman of character, always willing to lend a helping hand. Sue had a great love for casinos and traveling, always on the lookout for her next adventure. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Sue was a very giving person, always ready to offer her support and love to those around her.

Per her request, Sue has been taken for cremation with no services planned at this time. McWilliams Funeral Home has assisted the family.
