MARION ‘PENNIE’ ANN HOCHREIN

Marion “Pennie” Ann Hochrein, 88, of Alpena passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at her home.

Marion Ann Nowak was born in Alpena to the late Leo and Violet (Paad) Nowak. She married William H. Hochrein on Sept. 18, 1954. She enjoyed watching football and baseball games.

Surviving are her husband, William; son Robert A. Hochrein; daughter-in-law, Candy Hochrein; grandson, William T. Hochrein, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Hailey Hochrein; brother, Joseph (Jean) Nowak; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hochrein was preceded in death by a son, William T. Hochrein; an infant grandson, Wayne; and a sister, Jeanette (Glen) Daoust.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Aloysius Okpala officiating.

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
