SANDRA LOU WOZNIAK

April 12, 1951 – Aug. 17, 2023

Sandra (Sandy) Lou Wozniak, 72, of Alpena, Michigan passed away peacefully on Aug. 17, 2023, at home with her beloved husband and children by her side after a 10-month battle with cancer.

Sandra Lou Diem was born in Alpena on April 12, 1951, to the late Edward and Blanche (Muszynski) Diem. She married the love of her life Florian on Aug. 29, 1970. Together they had two beautiful children, four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Family was everything to Sandy and it showed every Fourth of July at her backyard BBQ. Her unforgettable laugh and hugs and kisses will be missed.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Florian; children, Jeffery (Angie) Wozniak, Noreen (Matthew) Scull; four grandchildren, Mason, Austin, Allison (Shawn), Andrew; great-granddaughter, Ava; three sisters, Precellia (Steven) Bile, Kathlene (Chester) Gorski, Marlene Diem; and several nieces and nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by sister, Joann Hazel and brother, Edward (Barbara) Diem.

Memorial visitation will take place Wednesday at St. Mary Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. with the Rev. Tyler Bischoff officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
