PATRICK R. CARRIVEAU
PATRICK R. CARRIVEAU
Jan. 5, 1951 – Aug. 23, 2023
Patrick R. Carriveau, age 72 of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly at Corewell Health United Hospital in Greenville on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023.
Patrick was a guy who loved to tinker and build things and as his wife, Joy would attest to, “that man was always fixing something.” He enjoyed working on cars and building garages. He liked going for rides on his quad and side-by-side, golfing, hunting and fishing. He was a US Army Veteran having served his country during Vietnam, retiring as a First Sergeant after 23 years, and he was also a member of the Eagles Aerie #4321. However, the thing Patrick loved the most was his family and spending time with them; he was a devoted husband, wonderful father, amazing grandpa, loving brother, and a great friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
Surviving Patrick is his mom, Barbara Poland of Prescott, Arizona; his wife of 47 years, Joy; sons, Jeff (Jayne) Carriveau of Alpena, PJ (Kathy) Carriveau of Spruce, Richard (Joelle) Carriveau of Jenison, Todd (Rebecca) Carriveau of Greenville; grandchildren, Joshua Carriveau of Alpena, Janay Bellas of Toledo, Ohio, Josie Carriveau of Alpena, Baylee Krajniak of Lachine, Andrew Braidwood of Alpena, Brooklyn Carriveau of Grand Rapids, Casey Carriveau of Temple, Texas, Aiden Carriveau of Alma, Dayton Carriveau of Alma, Layla Carriveau of Spruce, Wyatt Carriveau of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Talie, Lena, Cici, Levi, Jonah, Maybelle, Iyla, Kincade, Dixie Lou, Valerie, and Theo; sisters, Denise (Richard) Ebner of Thousand Oaks, California, Debbie (Elly) Ochoa of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Beverly (David) Chavez of Rancho Cucamonga, California, Jeanne Rowlette of Rancho Cucamonga, California; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Bob Carriveau; brothers, Robert Carriveau and Michael Poland; and grandparents, Joe & Helen Carriveau.
