PATRICIA ANN (MARWEDE) WILLIAMS

Patricia Ann (Marwede) Williams, 86, of Herron passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, at MediLodge – Alpena.

Patricia Ann Kihn was born in Alpena on Sept. 4, 1936, to the late Edward and Florence (Hiske) Kihn. She married Norman Marwede on July 20, 1957. Together they raised four children on the family farm and created many wonderful lasting memories. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1988. Patricia later met and married Harold “Harry” Williams on Aug. 5, 2004. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with their family. She was a woman of strong faith in God, also enjoyed gardening, the Detroit Tigers baseball but most of all she loved watching her grandchildren’s events.

Surviving are four children, Alan Marwede, Cheryl Marwede, Paul (Dawn) Marwede, DeLynn (Matt) Shedlock; stepson, Patrick (Jennifer) Williams; two daughters-in-law, Janet Freeman, Candee Williams; 12 grandchildren, Andrew, Rachel, Jessica, Jacob, Adam, Brady, Madelynn, Gracie, Seancy, Riley, Ethan, Madeline; great-granddaughter, Shayna; brother, Keith Kihn; several wonderful nieces, nephews; and “special brother”, Dewayne Kihn.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by stepson, Daniel Williams and sister-in-law, Donna Kihn.

Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Llewellyn officiating.
