Cynthia “Cindy Clute” Rupas, 64, of Saline, Michigan passed away at her home with her family by her side after fighting cancer.

Cindy was born on Sept. 24, 1958 in Alpena, Michigan to Ann and Estel Clute. She was the youngest of eight. Cindy met and married Nicholas (Nick) Rupas in 1980. Cindy is survived by her husband of 42 years, daughter Christine (Scott) Jastro, and two grandchildren; Landon and Sohpia Jastro — all of Illinois.

Plus survived by six siblings: Margaret, Mary and Virginia, Robert, Don and Doug, and many nieces and nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by brother Jim and parents Estel and Ann, and older twin sisters. Service will be held in Saline, Michigan on Aug. 28, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church.
