THOMAS H. COOK

Thomas H. Cook, 84, Alpena passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena.

Thomas Henry Cook was born in Posen on May 10, 1939, to the late John and Violet (Donald) Cook. Tom served in the United States Army for three years from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1959. He married Rita Tadajewski on February 27, 1965, at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, Rita; three daughters, Denise (Craig) Wekwert, Jacqueline (James) Piwowarski, Lydia Cook; two sons, Jean (Carol) Cook, Tommy Cook and 10 grandchildren.

Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his first wife Paulette; son, Patrick Cook; daughter Yvonne Cook; three brothers, and five sisters.

Visitation will take place at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon with the Rev. Tyler Bischoff officiating. Military honors will be accorded him by VFW Alpena Post 2496. Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Interment: Long Rapids Cemetery
