CAROLE L. ROULEAU COOK
Carole L. Rouleau Cook, age 69, a resident of Shelby, Alabama since 2001, passed away on July 18, 2023. A wonderful Wife and Mother, Carole had previously resided in Pelham, Alabama from 1979 to 2001.
A memorial service celebrating Carole’s life will be held at Bay Springs Baptist Church on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 2 p.m. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to 200 Hwy 99, Shelby, Alabama, 35143.
Carole was preceded in death by her son: Robert “Robbie” Curtis Cook.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years: William “Willie” Cook; her son: Michael “Cooker” Cook (Cassie Dumphy); her brother: Mark Rouleau (Marsha); her sister-in-law: Mecianne Rouleau; and her nephew and niece: Matthew Rouleau and Terri Rouleau.
Carole was born on Dec. 29, 1953, and was raised in Alpena, Michigan where she graduated from Alpena High School. She is survived there by many cousins and dear friends. Carole was a professional bass angler from 1994 till 2005, where she fished with many famous professionals. She was an active member and attended Bay Springs Baptist Church. She had many loving friends within the church and the community and will be missed by all.
