RICHARD H. BROWN

July 25, 1934 – April 30, 2023

Richard was born in Alpena July 25, 1934 and went to be with his Lord April 30, 2023. He was

the husband of Patricia J. Schilling whom he married Aug. 18, 1956, and the father of

Robert and daughter in law Marlies of Crossville, Tennessee. and Christopher of Chico, California.

Richard and PJ were high school lifetime sweethearts. They started dating when she was 14 and he was 16.

Before moving to Sunnyvale, California, Richard built several homes in the Alpena area.

In 1964 they moved to Sunnyvale where Richard became involved in Silicon Valley/Sunnyvale

projects in E/M Engineering including private and government projects. His work took him to

several states and also a project in Japan.

In the mid 80’s he started his own consulting business working

from his office in Paradise, California and retiring officially in 1989.

Richard was an avid reader and loved studying/debating God’s Creation versus

Man’s Evolution and Bible History. He was a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod

and a “Celebration of Life” is scheduled for later this year.
