John G. Joiner, 86, of Black River, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 at his home.

Joan E. Joiner, 82, of Black River, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alpena.

They are survived by their son, Frederick (Susan) Joiner of Kalkaska, and Joan’s three brothers, Chuck (Clarice) Humphrey, Michael (Debra) Humphrey, and Steven Humphrey, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
