DOROTHY MAURINE MOORE

Dorothy Maurine Jones was born July 10, 1929, in Alpena County to the late Henry and Bertha (Whitehead) Jones. On March 1, 1958, she married Donald Moore. He preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 2015. Dorothy enjoyed sewing and making baby quilts. She was a devout Christian woman who lived her life with faith in her Lord and Savior.

Surviving are her three children, Darla (Ralph) Lichtenberg, Donna Moore-Boatwright, Jeffrey (Katie) Moore; son-in-law, Kent Gleason; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharlene Gleason; three siblings, Leslie Jones, Roy Jones, and Ruth McConnell.

Visitation will take place Friday, May 26, 2023, at Bannan Funeral Home from 12 p.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m.

Interment: Pleasant View Cemetery, Spruce, Michigan
