MABEL ANN JOSEPH
Mabel Ann Joseph, 98, of Alpena passed away peacefully Friday, April 21, 2023. Mabel was born March 9, 1925, in Alpena to the late Akel and Wadei (Ayoub) Joseph. She worked for the 26th Circuit Court as Court Administrator before retiring to a life of community service, being active with the Alpena Friends of the Library, the League of Women Voters, Zonta, and the First Baptist Church Choir, before finally pulling back due to complications from diabetes.
Mabel was preceded in death by all of her siblings; Helen Joseph, Martha McDonald, Emily Peck, Anna Lampela (Allen Lampela), Edna Alekel (Abe Alekel), Katy Joseph, Mary Joseph, Joseph Joseph, Sheridan (Ann) Joseph, and Louis Joseph. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m., with a graveside service to immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Moceri officiating.
