LOUIS (LOUIE) MISIAK

Louie worked and retired from Stoneport as well as farmed for many years. He enjoyed both reading and watching old westerns. Louie was a skilled carpenter, known for his meticulous attention to detail, which was evident in every project he took on, including building his own home. He enjoyed playing his fiddle at family events, where friends and family would gather to sing, dance and laugh. He truly will be missed. Surviving are his six children, Donna Repke (Tom Thomas), Randy Misiak, Kurt Misiak, Gene (Nancy) Misiak, Tina (Richard) Sharp, and Kathy (William) Behning; his brother, Floyd; 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Roy; six brothers, Anthony, Eugene, John, Mark, Gerald, Raymond and two sisters, Virginia Niedzwiecki and Anna Muszynski.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11 a.m. with an hour of visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Art Duchnowicz will reside as a celebrant. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Hospice of Michigan. Arrangements have been entrusted with McWilliams Funeral Home.
