FREDERICK MAURICE KEUNE IV

Frederick was born Aug. 22, 1953, to the late Frederick III and Carol (Conlon) Keune. He served in the United States Army as an MP Paratrooper Air Borne 82 and worked at the Alpena CRTC for 36 years. On Nov. 6, 1982, he married Charlotte Pentland. Fred enjoyed grouse and deer hunting and time at camp. He served on the Maple Ridge Township Fire Department.

Surviving are his wife, Charlotte; two sons, Scott Keune, Eric (Kailey) Keune; three grandchildren, Hallie, Shae, Lincoln; sister, Laurie (Dan) Frazer; and brother-in-law, Rafael Turanzas.

Fred was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Turanzas and brother, David Keune.

Memorial visitation will take place Saturday, May 6, 2023, at First Presbyterian Church from 11 a.m. until the memorial service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. William Rayment officiating followed by military honors by Alpena VFW Post 2496. Arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.
