CATHY JOAN BEATTIE

Cathy was born Nov. 6, 1955, in Alpena, Michigan to Clayton and Norma (Kwiatkowski) Beattie.

Cathy earned her associate degree from Alpena Community College. After completing her education, she worked for more than 30 years for the Ford Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan. She enjoyed collecting antiques, gardening, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Surviving Cathy are her five siblings, brother, Wayne (Marcella) Male, sister, Audrey Hanson, sister, Linda (Charles) Currie, brother, Randy (Sherry) Beattie, sister, Jane Pyne, and brother-in-law, William Van Sipe.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Norma, and sisters, Brenda Turske, and Sheryl Van Sipe.

A celebration of Cathy’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to an animal charity in her memory.
