ALLEN K. REYNOLDS
Allen K. Reynolds, age 87, of Hubbard Lake passed away April 21, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alpena. Allen was born on May 3, 1935, in Alpena, the son of Adam and Beatrice (Peters) Reynolds. He grew up in the Spruce area and attended Alpena schools. On March 14, 1959, he married Ruth (Glaser) in Hubbard Lake.
He was employed as a construction worker for many years, and also built their family home. Allen enjoyed hunting and fishing, and also loved to cook with his wife for guests at the High Banks Camp for many years.
He is survived by his wife Ruth of 64 years; brother, Dale (Caroline) Reynolds, and also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Lorraine Jezierski and Donna Jent, and brother Ardine Reynolds.
Visitation will take place at Hope Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 1-3 p.m. with the service beginning at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Bryan R. Salminen officiating. Luncheon will follow. A private burial will be held at Salem Cemetery.
