Virginia Kathleen Suszek

Virginia Kathleen Ciupka was born in Alpena County on July 29, 1935, to the late Joseph and Sophia (Tarzyski) Ciupka. On Sept. 26, 1952, she married Harry Srebnik. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1970. She later married Lloyd Suszek on Nov. 21, 1980. He also preceded her in death on May 8, 2000. She was a member of All Saints Parish. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, working in her flower gardens, and keeping a clean house.

Surviving are eight children, Leonard “Butch” (Joni) Srebnik, Larry (Kathy) Srebnik, Lou (Cindy) Srebnik, Mary (Gary) Teall, LaVern (Nancy) Srebnik, Rose (Doug) Rondeau, Lee (Sue) Srebnik, Rhonda (Mark) Kieliszewski; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Delores Green, Marian Kamyszek, Geraldine Kamyszek, Robert (Darlene) Ciupka; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Suszek was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Shambeau, Jr., grandson, Chad Srebnik and a brother, Eugene Ciupka.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tyler Bischoff officiating.
