RAYMOND GERALD JOHNSON

Raymond was born in Alpena on Dec. 1, 1932, to the late Seth and Louise (Bethal) Johnson. He married Shirley Mae Stepanski on July 5, 1952. She preceded her in death on July 4, 2014. Ray enjoyed carpentry work, going to camp, hunting, and fishing.

Surviving are two children, Lorraine (Don) Dietz, Steven (Debbie) Johnson; five grandchildren, Sheila (Jonathan) Kizer, Marie Dietz, Danyelle Dietz, Robin (Spencer) Gloss, Janine LaCross; four great-grandchildren; two siblings, Gloria Roznowski and John “Jack” Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by two siblings, Joann Dault and Larry Johnson.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home. A private graveside service will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
