KATHLEEN ‘KATIE’ MARGARET BENSON

Kathleen Margaret Cousineau was born in Detroit on Jan. 28, 1942, to the late Elmer and Margaret (O’Harra) Cousineau. She married Robert Benson on Aug. 30, 1981. Katie enjoyed fishing with her husband Bob, working in her flower gardens and most importantly spending time with family.

Surviving are her husband, Robert; eight children, Tim (Angie) Tovey, Karen Tovey, Robin (Larry) Martin, Annette (Lawrence) Paad, Billie Jo (Joel) Foster, April (Jeff) Robinette, Robin Benson, Joni (Brian) Timm; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two siblings, Joe Cousineau; Mary (Bud) Mischley; several nieces and nephews.

Katie was preceded in death by two children, Donald Tovey, Sherry Tovey; two brothers, Fred Cousineau and William Cousineau.

According to Katie’s wishes no service will take place. Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
