ROSE BUSHEY

Rose was born Feb. 13, 1940 in Ossineke to the late Joseph and Sophia (Langa) Swartzinski. She was employed by and retired from the Alpena public school system. Rose is survived by her two sons Leo and wife Heidi Bushey of Canton, Michigan and John and Shawna Bushey of Malvern, Arkansas, seven grandchildren Joshua, Anna, Rachel, Kendra, Nakita, Coda, and Indigo, three great-grandchildren Devon, Emma, and Logan, two brothers Joseph, and Leonard Swartzinski, and one sister Celia Anderson.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband Edward (Mal) Bushey, son Edward Jr. (Eddie), brothers Julius, and Michael, and sisters Regina, Lorain, and Helen.

Rose was a quiet gentle soul who touched the lives of all who met her, she so loved spending time with family and friends. Per her wishes she was cremated and burial services will be performed in the month of May 2023 at St. Catherine’s church of Ossineke. Exact time and day will be given at a later date.
