ELEANOR LAURA SCHELLIE

Eleanor Laura Blemke was born April 20, 1937, in Presque Isle County to the late Edward and Selma (Wagner) Blemke. On Nov. 8, 1968, she married Edward Schellie, Jr. He preceded her in death Oct. 22, 2001. Eleanor was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena.

Surviving are her five children, Lynette (Mike Woodruff) Schellie, Dennis (Nancy) Schellie, Dewayne (Patti) Schellie, Darl Schellie, Alan Schellie; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Elmer (Beverly) Blemke.

Eleanor was preceded in death by three siblings, Roy (Jenny) Blemke, Louie (Dorothy) Blemke, and Delores (Kenneth) Johnson.

Visitation will take place Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 12 noon with the Rev. John Shipman officiating. Arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.
