RANDALL CURTIS THACKSTON
Randall Curtis Thackston, 72 of Tampa Florida formerly of Alpena, Michigan passed away peacefully, Oct. 12, 2022, with family by his side.
Randy was born May 22, 1950, in Alpena to the late Samuel Curtis and Margaret-Ane (Gusler) Thackston. Surviving is his sister Kristina-Ane Thom (David), two nephews, Daniel Curtis Thom (Jennifer) and her daughter Hannah, Matthew Kenneth Thom, and Margaret Whitney Shea, his affectionately named and loved “Big Sister”; Aunt Ruth Gurnham and many cousins.
Randy graduated from Alpena Senior High in 1969 then attended Alpena Community College and later attended Texas Lutheran University.
Family would like to thank Colleen Davis and her colleagues for taking such good care of Randy. They are so grateful for the wonderful compassion and kindness. He loved you all!
A graveside committal will take place Friday, Oct. 11, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to McWilliams Funeral Home.
