MICHAEL E. HANSON

Michael was born Dec. 31, 1951, in Alpena, Michigan to the late Edward and Constance (Higley) Hanson. In 1970, he married Margo (Baumgart), the two of them enjoyed camping with their family along with sharing an interest in classic cars which included his 1963 Chevy Impala and her 1965 Ford Galaxy Convertible. Mike had many hobbies and interests, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, old movies, and his morning coffee on the porch.

Michael is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margo, his two daughters, Tonya (Scott) Repke and Alicia Hanson, his brothers Bill Hanson, Matt Hanson, Joe Hanson, Andy Hanson and Steve (Jackie) Hanson, his sister, Issabelle (Bill) Hildreth, five grandchildren, Derek, Tyler, Brenden, Callie and Kaiden, six great-grandchildren, Brayden, Abbagael, Levi, Riley, Ryker and Silas. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-laws, Patricia Hanson and Darcy Hanson, and grandson, Austin Michael Hanson.

Visitation will take place on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, from 4-8 p.m. at McWilliams Funeral Home and will resume on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Leslie Nye officiating. Online condolences can be registered at mcwilliamsfh.com.
