JANICE SUE (SEAVERS) KRUEGER

Janice was born on Oct. 16, 1951, in Alpena to the late Carl and Myra (Olsen) Seavers. She was a life-long resident of the area. She married Larry Krueger on April 22, 1972. They celebrated 50 wonderful years together this year. Janice graduated from Alpena High School in 1969 and then from Alpena Community College in 1971. She held various jobs through the years with her time employed at Wachterhauser Funeral Home being her fondest. Janice loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother (Mimi) with her greatest joy coming from caring for and spending time with her family.

Janice is survived by her husband, Larry, two sons, Carl and Matthew, her daughter, Amanda (David) Sauls, her granddaughter, Isabella Rose (“the light of her life”), two step-grandchildren, Katrina, and James “Jimmy” Shepherd, two step great-grandchildren, Farrah and Landon Williams, her sister, Karla (Ken) Surmacz, her mother in-law, Wanda Krueger, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her toddler son, Jason and both parents.

Janice is at McWilliams Funeral Home where family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Erickson officiating. Memorial donations can be made to Friends Together or a charity of choice.
