Surviving are his sister, Joyce (Steinke) Cordes; sister-in-law, Evelyn Steinke; nephews and nieces Christopher Steinke, Darwin Steinke, James Steinke; Doug Helman, Alicia Helman, Brad Cordes, and Michael Cordes, Gina (Cordes) Robertson; seven great-nephews and nieces, Ethan, Shayley, Gavin, Michael, Elizabeth, Brandon, Isabella, Gracie, Kiryanna, Brady and Bryce.

Memorial visitation will take place Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, at St. John Lutheran Church, Royston from 1 p.m. until the memorial service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jason Mandley officiating. Arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.
