CONNIE LYNN SHIELDS

Connie is survived by four children; Shane Fitzpatrick, Tanya (Steve) Kosloski, Ashley (Jimmy) Compton, Eric (Jessica Howard) Shields. She is preceded in death by her late husband Gordon Alan Shields with whom she shared 47 years of her life with. Her daughter Angela Minton and son-in-law Arlin (Pudge) Minton.

Connie was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Livya and Tyler Fitzpatrick, Damien (Alanys Godin) Fitzpatrick and their three children, Dylan Fitzpatrick, Danielle Kosloski, Hope (Trevor) Payne and their three children, Austin Minton, Heather Minton and her son, Hailey Compton, Jayda, Savannah and Isaac Shields.

Connie could often be found talking about gardening and recently picked back up her love for crafts, often spending time with her sister Cathy creating something new. Anyone who knew Connie also knew her love for electronics, specifically her iPad.

Much like her late husband, Connie also loved being surrounded by family; the more the merrier. Many nights you could find her grandchildren camped out on her living room floor, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Connie is survived by three siblings; Cathy (Mark) Schultz, Ernie McEwen, John (Patty) McEwen. She is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Lorna McEwen, siblings Rick (Bonnie) McEwen, Mike McEwen, and Dan (Gloria) McEwen.

Connie will be missed dearly by friends and family but her memories will last a lifetime.

Cremation arrangements have been made with Bannan Funeral Home. A memorial service in her honor will be held at a later date.
