HARRY A. MAREK
Harry A. Marek, 85, of Ossineke passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022 at home with his family at his side.
Harry was born June 27, 1937, at home in Caledonia Township to the late Constantine and Lillian Hildegard Marek. He was one of 10 children.
Harry served in the Army National Guard Reserve from 1960 – 1966. On Aug. 19, 1961, he married Marilyn Sue Gauthier who preceded him in death on July 6, 2017. Harry retired as a supervisor at Stoneport Quarry after 35 years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church for many years.
Harry is survived by his son, Jeffery (Joan) Marek, his daughter, Christina (David) LaMarre, his grandchildren, Jason Marek, Jeffery Marek (fiancee Ashley Long), Jenna (Michael) Warner, James Marek, Liam Marek, Connor Timmreck, Ashley LaMarre, four great-grandchildren, and his brother, Claude (Judy) Marek.
A private graveside service will take place at Sanborn Twp. Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to The Lutheran Hour, Immanuel Lutheran Church, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Family has entrusted McWilliams Funeral Home with arrangements.
