ELEANOR ELAINE HOPPE

Eleanor Elaine Wieschowski was born in Posen on Dec. 28, 1939, to the late Lucille and John Lesneskie, raised by her grandparents, Anthony and Mathilda Wieschowski and when she was 8 years old went to live with Della and Steve Donajkowski. She married Louis Hoppe on June 30, 1956. He preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1986. She was a member of All Saints Parish, and actively supported All Saints School through its ticket sales. Eleanor was always about family and loved them all very much.

Surviving are her 10 children, Louis (Cathy) Hoppe, Pam Nowicki, Leonard (Monica) Hoppe, Kenneth Hoppe, Peggy (Brian) Kamyszek, Sue (Charles) Zbytowski, Bill Hoppe, Cindy Smigelski, Dennis (CJ) Hoppe, Roger (Kristi) Hoppe; 32 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; nine siblings, Carol Oravec, Linda (Carl) Peterson, Judy (Chris) Filipiak, Sandra Lesneskie, John Lesneskie, Daniel Lesneskie, Rita Emery, Sally Scheff, Tina Rigby; several nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was preceded in death by sons-in-law, Ken Smigelski, Kevin Nowicki; four grandchildren, Matthew Hoppe, Andrew Hoppe, Christa Hoppe, Cathlin Hoppe, and sister, Evelyn Wajda.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and where the funeral service will take place on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles Donajkowski officiating.

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
