RAYMOND J. SHEPHERD

Raymond was born in Hillman on Aug. 23, 1941, to the late Fred and Alice (James) Shepherd. On July 15, 1961, he married Donna Hubbard. She preceded him in death on Aug. 3, 2004. He worked for many years for R.J. Kenyon and Sons. He loved hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his companion of many years, Beverly Shepherd, his children, Lori (Randy) Herbek, Wayne (Patricia) Shepherd, Raylene (Dwight Eldridge) Steinke; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four siblings, Jimmy Shepherd, Linda (Greg) Gilbert, Betty (Phil) Pesotski, Chester (Bridget) Shepherd; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Shepherd was preceded in death by seven siblings, Fred Shepherd, George Shepherd, Georgina Ayotte, Marietta Klein, William Shepherd, Joyce Grosinsky, and Eleanor Susie Smith.

Visitation will be at the Bannan Funeral Home in Hillman on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and where the funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

Interment: Montmorency Township Cemetery
