PHYLLIS MARY TESSMER

Phyllis Mary Hanner was born Feb. 2, 1949, in Alpena to the late Orvil and Theresa (Kaiser) Hanner. On Aug. 8, 1970, she married Kenneth Tessmer. He preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2014. Phyllis was a member of All Saints Parish and enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and flower gardening.

Surviving are her daughter, Christine (David) Baker; granddaughters, Meghan Baker (Dylan Cousineau), Rachel Baker; sister, Linda Wilds; brother, Lawrence (Jean) Hanner; special friend, Michael Zbytowski and his family.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her infant brother, Donald and brother-in-law, Kenneth Wilds.

Memorial visitation will take place Monday at St. Catherine Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. with the Rev. John Williams officiating. Cremation arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.
