ARNOLD ADOLPH MOGGIE
Arnold Adolph Moggie, 91, of Ossineke passed away Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, at MediLodge of Alpena.
Arnold was born Oct. 7, 1930, in Montmorency County to the late Carl and Olga (Koenig) Moggie. He served in the United States Army during World War II. On Oct. 24, 1953, he married Alice Kissau. Arnie worked at Thompson Sales and Service for 40 years, operated a dairy farm, and later sold Christmas trees. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Alice; three children, Tim (Susan) Moggie, Karen (Scott) Worthy, Sharon (Dave) Rensberry; four grandchildren, Kelsey (Tyler) Kerby, Joshua Eller, Tyler Eller, Kyle (Allison) Worthy; two great-grandchildren, Larkin Kerby, Brielle Eller; two siblings, Donna (Louis Bartz) Krentz and Arthur Moggie.
Arnie was preceded in death by three siblings, Carl Moggie, Eleanore Timm, and Arlene LaFeldt.
Memorial visitation will take place Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at Hope Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at 12 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Bryan R. Salminen officiating followed by military honors accorded him by Alpena V.F.W. Post 2496. Arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.
