SANDRA DIANE MAREK

Sandra Diane Snider was born in Alpena on July 22, 1942. She married William Marek June 5, 1993. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2021. Sandra enjoyed baking, sewing, quilting, watching birds, doing puzzles, playing games with friends, and going to garage sales.

Surviving are three children, Duane Werda, Melanie ‘Buffy’ (Richard) Kaszubowski, Ted (Dawn) Cousins; daughter-in-law, Penny Werda; nine grandchildren, Brandon, David, Paige, Hunter, Gage, Grace, Faith, Emily, Shaun; four great-grandchildren, Bryson, Izzy, Rory, Kayla; two sisters, Cheryl (Larry) Cousineau, and Paula Snider.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Albert LaFave; her parents, LeRoy and Betty (McComb) Snider; two sons, Tony Cousins, Dennis Werda; two siblings, Barbara Martinson and Dale LaFave.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday at the Bannan Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Joshua Schultz officiating.
