Lila M. Burnash

Surviving are: Judy Burnash, Sue (David) Quintanilla, Martin (Michelle), Denice (Ed) Zarr, Celeste (Gary) Huber, Duane (Malinda), Philip (Shelly), Paul (Suzanne), Anthony (Tracey), and Gerard, 25 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Arlene Dubie, and many cousins. Ken Yaklavich has been a very special friend and dancing partner. Virginia Makarewicz was like a sister to Lila.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary on Monday, August 22 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 9:30 – 10:30 followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Aug. 23 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5191 Richfield R. Flint, Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. She will then be transferred to the Alpena area.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary on Tuesday, August 23 at Karpus Hunter Ross Funeral Home, 516 W. Chisholm St., Alpena. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday August 24 followed by Funeral Mass at St. Rose Catholic Church, 3433 Herron Rd., Herron, Michigan, Fr. Michael Lingaur celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Rose Cemetery.
