BARBARA MELINDA NEEDHAM

Barbara Melinda Miller was born June 29, 1963, in Walker County, Alabama On Aug. 21, 1987, she married Matthew Needham. Barb worked at Walmart for 25 years. She was a member of Church of Christ – Atlanta and volunteered at Caring Place Food Pantry in Atlanta. Barb loved animals and gave of herself to anyone or animal in need.

Surviving are her husband, Matthew; two children, Matthew Needham, Steven Needham; granddaughter, Mirabelle; mother, Joyce (Don) Strickland; two siblings, Tammy Downard, Vincent Miller; mother-in-law, Carole Needham; Needham family; many nieces and nephews.

Barb was preceded in death by her stepfather, Bill Odom; sister, Miranda Earnest; and father-in-law, James Needham.

Memorial visitation will take place Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Church of Christ – Atlanta from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at 12 noon with Pastor Jerry Robertson officiating. Arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.
