AUDRIE ILENE RENSBERRY

Audrie Ilene Cochrane was born June 26, 1927, in Flint, Michigan. On Oct. 27, 1945, she married Vernell Rensberry. He preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 2018. Audrie served as Wilson Township Clerk and later worked at Phelps Collins Air Base for 23 years retiring in 1995. She was a member of Huron Shores Fellowship. Audrie enjoyed gardening, reading, birds, and the Detroit Tigers.

Surviving are four children, Judy and Gilbert LaCross, the Rev. Duane and Linda Rensberry, David and Sharon Rensberry, Jill Odem; nine grandchildren, Curtiss LaCross, Bradley and Jeanine LaCross, Aaron and Tina LaCross, Dr. Matthew and Erica Rensberry, Marcus and Meredith Rensberry, Dana and Ron Forman, Doug and Meghann Rensberry, Jenna Odem, Colton Odem; 13 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; brother Terry and Beverly Smith.

Audrie was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Smith and fathers, Lee Cochrane and Merville Smith; infant grandson, Alex; great-granddaughter, Leah; two brothers, Roger Smith, Ronald Smith; two sisters, Shirley Wallace and Shelby Alexander.

Visitation will take place Friday at Bannan Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. and continue Saturday at Huron Shores Fellowship from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Marlon Smith and the Rev. Duane Rensberry officiating.

Interment: King Settlement Cemetery
