VIOLA ESTHER BEYER

Viola Esther Beyer, 93, went home to be with her Saviour on Monday, June 13, 2022.

Viola was born on May 28, 1929, in Alpena to the late Otto and Sarah (Sutterman) Liske. Upon completion of school, she attended The School of Beauty to become a hairdresser for family only. She worked for one year at our Local Union Telephone Co. until June 2, 1950, when she married Norman Otto Beyer. Together they raised five children and ran a very successful farm until retirement in 1990. Norman preceded her in death on August 26, 2015. Viola was a member of Word of Life Baptist Church. She was a very faithful, dedicated mom. It was very important to her to have her children in Church each Sunday.

Surviving are her five children, Daryl Beyer, Wayne (Rachel) Beyer, Janice Udell, Earl (Susan) Beyer, Paul (Ann) Beyer, 15 grandchildren, Krystal (Judd) Collins, Brad Beyer, Darcy Beyer, Logan Beyer, Chandler (Fiancee, Sydney) Beyer, Sloan ( Fiancee, Aubrey) Beyer, Casey (Trisha) Udell, Travis Udell, Danielle Udell, Jesse Udell, Brian (Lauren) Beyer, Brenda Beyer, David (Caroline) Beyer, Collin (Bryanna) Beyer, Evan Beyer, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, her brother, Richard (Phyllis) Liske and sister, Janette Manning.

Viola was preceded in death by her brother Donald (Shirleen) Liske, brother Ferris (Karen) Liske, brother-in-law Glen Manning, son-in-law Wes Udell and daughter-in-law Loretta Beyer.

Family will receive friends at Word of Life Church on Friday, June 17, 2022, from noon until the Celebration of Life at 2 pm with Pastor Scott Joy and Rev. Jim Liske Officiating.
