JEANNE AMELIA KLEIN

Jeanne Amelia Cole was born June 4, 1926, in Lachine, Michigan to the late Ivory and Anna (Olsen) Cole. On Aug. 7, 1948, she married Jack Klein. She was a foster parent for 12 children. Jeanne was a charter member of Huron Shores Fellowship. She enjoyed sewing, baking, cooking, and gardening. Jeanne also enjoyed working with children and teaching Sunday School.

Surviving are her husband, Jack, three children, Sue Schwartz, Connie Hockersmith, Rob (Lynn) Klein; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Jeanne was preceded in death by three grandsons; two sisters, Marion (Leo) Mahar, Eleanore (Wes) Smith; and brother, Donald (Mary) Cole.

Visitation will take place Sunday at Huron Shores Fellowship from 2-6 p.m. and continue there Monday at 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Warren Hoffman officiating. Arrangements have been made by Bannan Funeral Home.

Interment: Greely Cemetery
