JANICE ANN SYLVESTER

Janice Ann Hillman was born Aug. 4, 1938, in Alpena to the late John and Irene (Szatkowski) Hillman. On Oct. 11, 1956, she married Robert Sylvester. He preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 2018. Janice enjoyed sewing, puzzles, crossword puzzles, and remembering loved ones on special days.

Surviving are her seven children, Kim (James) Gamache, Charlene Hale, Sherry Millard, Robert Sylvester Jr., Laurie (Lloyd) Douglas, Janice (Les) Seres, Scott (Lynn) Sylvester; daughter-in-law, Lori Fowley; 24 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; brother, and Gary (MaryLou) Hillman.

Janice was preceded in death by her son, William Sylvester; son-in-law, Roger Millard; three brothers, Thomas, Robert, Donald; and sister, Kaye Bielet.

Visitation will take place Monday at Bannan Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until the funeral service at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Tyler Bischoff officiating.

Interment: Pilgrims Rest Cemetery
