GEORGETTA MAE NOLAN

Georgetta Mae Nolan, 96, of Alpena passed away May 28, 2022, at Turning Brook. She was born Dec. 6, 1925, in Jamestown, Ohio to the late John and Dorothea (Sesslar) Meno. Her family moved to Alpena when she was just five years old. On June 30, 1948, she married Hugh Nolan. He died on March 19, 2003. She is survived by her three sons, John (Sherry) of Ossineke, Allan (Rosemary) of Comstock Park, and Lee (Patricia) of Essexville. She has six grandsons and one granddaughter, and 15 great-grandchildren, a sister, Joanne Shaw, a sister in-law, Maryellen Boehringer and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothea Memo, husband, Hugh Nolan and brothers, Ted and Robert Memo.
