CARMEN MARIE ZBYTOWSKI
Carmen Marie Zbytowski, a resident of Alpena, Michigan, passed from this life on June 28, 2022. Carmen was born on Aug. 14, 1951, to Wardell and Alice (Bogucki) Stayner and was raised in Branch County, Michigan. She was a proud alumni of Ladywood Catholic High School in Livonia, Michigan.
She worked at Wilson and Hubbard Lake Elementary Schools as an IA and school Librarian, was active in parish ministry at St Bernard Catholic Church, and volunteered for many years at the St. Bernard’s Friendship Room.
Carmen married her beloved husband, Paul Zbytowski in 1970. She was the beloved mother of Katherine Kuznicki, Paul (Jennifer) Zbytowski Jr., and Andrew (Nicole) Zbytowski, and grandmother of Toby and Clara Kuznicki, Olivia, Zack, Natalie, Paul III, and Henryk Zbytowski.
Carmen was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister Rita Kay, and brother Leland Wardell Stayner.
Memorial visitation will take place Tuesday at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. with the Rev. Tyler Bischoff officiating. Arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.
