RENEE MARIE PAAD
Renee Marie Paad, 55 of Alpena, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, after a battle with Stage 4 Lymphoma and additional health issues. Renee was born Nov. 15, 1966, in Dearborn Michigan to Bernadine ‘Sandy’ and Gerald Sarnia.
Renee was a passionate Red Wings fan and enjoyed sharing her love for rock bands with her friends. Many remember Renee from the ‘Dry-Dock Days,’ and cherish the memories made. She enjoyed helping others throughout her career; most recently as an aide with the students of APS. Renee took pride in her work; each student she worked with had a special place in her heart.
Renee is survived by her three children; Jessica (Guy) of Grand Rapids, Corey of Hubbard Lake, and Chelsea of Alpena; one grandson, Jasper of Grand Rapids; her dad, Jim (Mary-Ann) Davis of Clare; sister, Debbie of Romulus; brothers, Ron of Alpena, James of Farwell, Scott of Detroit, best-friend Dawn of Alpena; cousin, Darlene of Alpena; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by mother, Bernadine ‘Sandy,’ and brother Gerald II ‘Jerry.’
Memorial visitation will take place Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Bannan Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until the memorial service at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Lingaur officiating.
