ORLO J. LEMONT
Orlo J. Lemont of Spruce passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 9, at home after a long illness.
Orlo was born on Oct. 6, 1939 to Orlo and Celina Lemont (Jobin) in Lincoln, Michigan.
He attended and graduated from Alpena Catholic Central High School in 1958, and joined the Army, stationed most of his military career in Kaiserslautern, Germany as a movie photographer.
He met and married Heidi Kuschke in August of 1961, and they lived most of their lives in Spruce.
Together, they had four children, Orlo Stephen of Davison, Michigan, Brigitte Denise of Springfield, Missouri, and twins, Bryan Lee and Thomas Pierre of Alpena, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
According to Orlo’s wishes, there was no visitation or memorial.
Arrangements for cremation were handled by Gillies Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
